  • At Le Creux des Pierres, you will be able to enjoy wholesome mountain cooking. Pride of place is given to local produce, in particular smoked meats from the Saugeais, Morteau sausages and excellent Comté cheeses.
  • Autumn brings the opportunity to sample hunting season fare, delicious mushroom pie and Mont d'Or cheese simple or in "boîte chaude" (hot box)
  • Catherine is a mushroom enthusiast and will be happy to invite you on one of her expeditions (in season of course).
  • All meals including breakfast are taken here.
  • We will be pleased to prepare picnic lunches for hikers and skiers.
  • You may perhaps be familiar with the delicious "raclette" cheese dish. But have you tried it with an Arbois or Savagnin wine, or accompanied with Brési dried meat or real mountain ham, traditionally smoked in a "tuyé" (giant open fireplace)?
  • The chances are you have already sampled a cheese fondue, but what could be more agreeable than sharing it with friends while the snow falls outside !
  • And then you will want to enjoy the inn's speciality, the "Bourriflette".
